Frequently Asked Questions

Pool Opening & Closing

Most pool openings take approximately 1–2 hours, depending on the size of the pool, condition, and equipment setup. Additional time may be required if the pool has excessive debris or requires extra attention.

Not immediately. Our opening service removes heavy debris and starts the system, but water clarity depends on the pool’s condition. Additional cleanings and chemical balancing are often required to achieve a fully clear, swim-ready pool.

No. Leaf and heavy debris removal is not included in standard opening or closing services. This can be quoted separately if needed.

Customers are responsible for lowering the water level to approximately 2 inches below the tile line prior to our arrival. Ensuring clear access to the pool and equipment area is also recommended.

Weekly Maintenance & Service

For most pools, weekly maintenance is recommended to keep water balanced, equipment running properly, and the pool clean throughout the season.

Weekly service includes up to 30 minutes of cleaning (skimming, brushing, light vacuuming, and basket emptying), water testing and balancing, and a routine system check. A mid-season filter cleaning is also included.

Yes. Chemicals are supplied as needed during maintenance visits and billed separately based on usage.

Weekly maintenance is currently offered to customers located within approximately 10 minutes of our shop to ensure consistent and reliable service.

Yes, but these services are not included in standard maintenance. Green-to-clean treatments and heavily neglected pools are quoted separately based on condition.

Yes. In many cases, failing or aging concrete pools can be renovated using a membrane liner system. This involves installing a reinforced liner over the existing structure, creating a watertight, smooth, and durable finish without the need for a full rebuild.

Membrane liners are a great option for pools experiencing leaks, surface deterioration, or ongoing maintenance issues. They can extend the life of the pool, improve appearance, and often provide a more cost-effective alternative to traditional resurfacing methods.

Every pool is different, so we evaluate the structure and condition before recommending the best solution.

Yes. Steps and sundecks can be added to most vinyl liner pools, depending on the existing structure and layout. This typically involves modifying the pool interior and installing new step or sun shelf forms, followed by a custom-fit liner designed specifically for the updated shape.

Adding steps or a sundeck not only improves accessibility and safety but also enhances the overall look and functionality of your pool. Sundecks are especially popular for lounging, shallow water relaxation, and creating a resort-style feel.

Every project is evaluated individually to ensure proper fit, structural compatibility, and long-term performance.

Yes. Handrails and ladders can be added to most pools to improve accessibility, safety, and overall usability. Installation typically involves securely anchoring the hardware into the deck, ensuring a clean, stable, and long-lasting fit.

There are a variety of styles and finishes available to match your pool and surrounding space, whether you’re looking for a simple entry point or added support for steps and shallow areas.
